Facilities Onboard

Our priority is to cater for each passenger ensuring your journey is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. That's why we offer extra facilities such as designated pet areas, quiet lounges and children's play areas.

Packed Lunches

Our Grab'n'Go lunches consisting of a Sandwich, Mineral drink, packet of crisps and fruit are available to order onboard selected sailings to collect before you disembark at your destination. You will find more about our packed lunches here or, ask on board for further information. Parties of twelve or more should pre-order their lunch bags 72 hours before the day of sailing by emailing the Retail Operations department.

Party Bookings

Groups of 12 of more who wish to book a special meal may contact retailoperations@calmac.co.uk and we will assist you to meet your requirements.

Disabled Amenities

All of our ferries (excluding those on the Gourock - Dunoon route) have Disabled Toilets and Lifts. 

Quiet Lounges

For those who simply wish to relax or rest on their journey, we have installed comfortable recliner chairs in designated quiet lounges on larger vessels.

Pet Areas

Designated pet areas are available on our ships with seating areas for owners. Customers with pets are advised to remain in these areas.

If you require any information regarding the CalMac network or your destination, please ask any member of crew who will be happy to assist you.

Baby-Changing Facilities

Baby-changing facilities are situated on vessels operating from Wemyss Bay-Rothesay, Ardrossan-Brodick, Mallaig-Armadale, Mallaig-Eigg/Muck/Rum/Canna, Uig-Tarbert, Uig-Lochmaddy, Ullapool-Stornoway, Kennacraig-Port Ellen/Port Askaig/Colonsay/Oban, Oban-Craignure, Oban-Coll/Tiree.
