Whether you are green fingered or not, you can't help but be impressed by the beautiful Colonsay House and Gardens . They have what's considered to be one of the finest Rhododendron collections in the country. Planted in the 1930s, and thriving in the unique climate of the Southern Hebrides area, this woodland garden, spread across 20 acres, is renowned for the variety of Rhododendrons, trees and shrubs it displays - some of which are quite exotic.
