Coach Hopscotch 1 - Clyde & Kintyre

The wonderful islands, peninsulas and beautiful shorelines in the Clyde and Kintyre are within easy reach of Scotland's largest cities and the perfect destinations to get away from it all in super quick time.

This tour visits Arran, Kintyre, Gigha and Bute with a few highlights listed below.

1. Brodick Castle

Explore historic Brodick Castle, Garden and Country Park set dramatically against the backdrop of Goatfell on the beautiful island of Arran. Discover the castle's rich collection of impressive period furniture, silverware, paintings and trophies. Stroll around the landscaped gardens to enjoy the woodland trails, wildlife ponds and waterfalls, great views and the chance to spot some of the local wildlife.

2. Kyles of Bute

One of the highlights of travelling the beautiful road to Tighnabruaich is stopping off at the Kyles of Bute Viewpoint. It's a scenic drive along the A8003 to Tighnabruaich, but the viewpoint never fails to impress. It's a truly breathtaking view and makes for a fantastic photo - whatever the weather. There's a lay-by with a bench and map information panel showing the landmarks and history of the area.

3. Achamore Gardens

The community owned island of Gigha is home to the world famous Achamore Gardens. The garden extends to approximately 54 acres of natural woodlands and contains a large walled garden, pond area and many rare and interesting plants and trees.
