The submission:
The project would advance and improve the musical skills and abilities of the children living on Barra and Vatersay. This project will allow our charity to continue to support the children of Barra and Vatersay in their music and heritage of the islands. Not only does Feis Bharraigh support the children of Barra and Vatersay but the whole Island benefits as Feis Bharraigh pupils perform regularly at social events throughout the year. The funding will enable us to split students into classes of appropriate ability to enhance their learning.
Why were they chosen?
The life skills the young people will develop will be skills they will use throughout their lives.
