Skye Events for All (SEALL)

Skye Events for All (SEALL)

AMOUNT AWARDED: £1,710

The submission:

The project has a two-fold remit. First - to nurture, instruct and promote talented young local musicians as part of their musical and professional development. Second - to promote and sustain Scotland's unique Highland musical heritage and preserve the cultural significance of Scottish traditional music for present and future generations.

Why were they chosen?

The project is committed to developing the talents of, and providing new experiences for, the young people in our communities who do not have readily available access to quality music workshops. We will provide a safe, inclusive and positive environment for young musicians to develop their skills and use their experience with us as a springboard towards their further education and even a professional career in Scottish Traditional Music.
