Islay Archers

The submission:
Islay Archers are a community archery club providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to participate in this inclusive sport. While offering a safe and fun environment young people make friends and develop themselves in the process.
Why were they chosen?
Their project aims to increase their existing capacity to welcome new club members (especially from the younger age ranges from 10 to 25). Islay Archers hold regular sessions where young people can engage and try archery under instruction and supervision from coaches. However with our existing limited equipment there is only so much capacity. Support from CalMac will allow the organisation to purchase new equipment and attract more young people to Archery.
