Cowal Open Studios
CalMac Community Fund will support workshops to enable artists to increase children's self-confidence through using a range of media. This is particularly for children who need to develop self-expression because of their social or emotional difficulties. We aim to raise the profile of visual arts with young people across Cowal and increase their interest and participation. The project will be more sustainable in future through giving school staff the experience and confidence in broadening art for children in schools.
The key legacy for individual children will be the development of self-expression and self-confidence through art.
