Mallaig Football Club
Mallaig FC is a community football club which represents the whole of Mallaig and District, being the only club between Mallaig and Fort William. The club serves as a representative of the community and helps bring people together. More recently the club started an under 18s team further cementing its place at the heart of the community.
The project envisages the club solidifying and creating an identity. Vitally the project will be making sure the club have suitable equipment for training such as footballs, bibs, cones etc. As it stands it is financially difficult to run the youth branch of the club, costs for the ferry and minibuses alone are challenging. Support from the CalMac Community Fund will help the club achieve their goal of sustainability.
