If this sounds like you, we are looking to appoint four new members to the Ferries Community Board, Clyde and Hebrides.

The Board was set up in 2017 to act as the voice of the island and port communities that CalMac supports on strategic ferry issues. Since then, it has worked on a number of initiatives including service improvements and infrastructure development with a focus on economic sustainability.

Once the 4 new members are recruited, the Board will comprise of 15 members including an independent chairperson. The Community Board is separate from the CalMac Board. CalMac will not be represented on the Ferry Community Board.

Membership will be for 18 months with an option to extend.  The Board meets quarterly with travel and reasonable out of pocket expenses reimbursed.

Applicants should be prepared to influence and to think strategically, taking a network wide view.
