MV Coruisk to begin service on Mallaig-Armadale route from Monday 18 July

MV Coruisk will begin timetabled services between Mallaig-Armadale from Monday 18 July.

The vessel will undertake a two-day period of route familiarisation from Saturday 16 July, with timetabled services starting on Monday 18 July.

MV Coruisk will be the main vessel on the Mallaig-Armadale route, running alongside MV Loch Fyne.

The vessel will continue to support Mull in the interim while MV Loch Frisa takes over the full Oban-Craignure timetable from Monday 11 July, alongside MV Isle of Mull.

Finlay MacRae, Head of Operations at CalMac, said: "We know that communities in Mallaig and Skye are very eager to have MV Coruisk back to her original route, and we want to ensure this return is as smooth as possible for our customers and the wider network.

"With the arrival of MV Coruisk on this route, we will be transitioning to a new timetable to accommodate the vessel's different turnaround and hours of rest periods.

"Customers who are affected will receive a text message or phone call at least a week in advance of their booking to arrange a suitable alternative sailing, or to let them know of any changes to sailing times. If customers have any concerns or queries, they should contact our Customer Engagement Centre on 0800 066 5000."
