CalMac Update on Summer Timetables 15 December 2020
Customer Update - Summer Timetable 2021
Following discussion with Transport Scotland, we are pleased to update our customers that our Summer Timetable for the period 26 March 2021 - 17 October 2021 will be published on our website on 16 December 2020 at 9am and will open for bookings on 17 December 2020 at 9 am.
Making a booking
Our telephone lines and website are likely to be busy on 17 December. Where possible, we encourage our customers to make reservations at calmac.co.uk. Access to our website will be managed by a queue system, which is in place during periods of high demand to provide an improved booking experience. When in the queue, customers will automatically be directed to our website when it's their turn. We are grateful for your patience.
A reminder about our capacity
Coronavirus protection measures will still be in place. This means we are releasing this timetable in circumstances that are quite different when compared to previous years. We are still implementing official physical distancing guidelines which mean our capacity is still less than in 'normal times'.
Safer Travel with CalMac
When you sail with us, you'll notice that many of our familiar processes have changed in response to COVID19. There's also a set of important safer travel rules that everyone needs to follow - to help protect each other, the island and the communities CalMac serves. To help, we've prepared a series of FAQs on how to prepare and plan ahead for your journey - which includes information on wearing a face covering when travelling with us, and when in our port offices, unless exempt. We will keep our customers informed about these requirements - so please do stay up to date and in touch with us. You can find out how to do that below.
