What does this mean for my booking I have from 15 June? Will I still be able to travel?
The current essential services timetable will be in place until at least 14 June 2020.
We are currently working on establishing a new timetable with Transport Scotland. We will update our customers as soon as a new timetable has been agreed. You'll be able to stay up to date on this via our website and social media channels.
The new timetable will be in line with Scottish Government and Transport Scotland guidelines. It's important to understand that we won't be able to automatically revert to our usual summer timetable, instead it will be the next phase of our current essential services timetable. This is because the islands and rural communities we serve have a unique position. We must balance this with any lessening of lockdown limitations. So, any future easing of travel restrictions to the islands must be gradual and carefully planned.
The new timetable will still prioritise lifeline services and supplies. We will also need to build in social distancing measures and guidance into our operations, which will also reduce our capacity on sailings.
We will update you as soon as we have an update on the next phase of our timetable.
Customers with existing bookings on any sailing until the 18 October 2020, who no longer wish to travel, can cancel their reservation and we will waive the £10 refund administration fee. You can apply for a refund by completing our online refund form.
