I have been working on the mainland and have been sent home to self-isolate because I have suspected symptoms of Covid-19. Will I be permitted to travel to my home on the islands?'

No. Any individuals who have suspected Covid-19 symptoms or needs to self-isolate must follow Scottish Government advice on travel - and this includes not travelling by ferry travel to the islands.

If you require to be tested for Covid19 and are on an island, please  request a home testing kit  or visit the local island testing facility if this is available. If you live on the mainland, please arrange to visit a local testing centre. Don't travel on the ferry and stay at home if you feel unwell or if anyone in your household is experiencing coronavirus symptoms.
