When will MV Loch Frisa officially pick up the Oban-Craignure timetabled service?
From Monday 11 July, MV Loch Frisa has been operating her full Oban-Craignure timetable, previously operated by MV Coruisk. MV Isle of Mull is operating its normal timetable.
From 23 July, an enhanced timetable will be in operation on the Oban-Craignure service for the summer period. For details on the Oban-Craignure timetable, please visit our timetable page.
MV Coruisk, which previously operated on the Oban-Craignure route has now begun timetabled services on the Mallaig-Armadale service.
Will there be any change to the Oban - Craignure published timetable?
Yes. An enhanced timetable will be in operation for the summer period from 23 July.
MV Loch Frisa will operate additional sailings on a Tuesday evening for the remainder of the summer season and every Saturday night until 20 August.

Why are you enhancing the timetable on this service?
MV Loch Frisa's introduction to service has allowed us to add capacity to this service during the summer period, while also increasing resilience on the network.
Does MV Loch Frisa have the same vehicle capacity as MV Coruisk?
No, MV Loch Frisa has a lesser capacity which will result in changes to bookings on certain sailings. Any customers booked on affected sailings will receive a text message, email or phone call at least a week in advance of your booking to advise you on next steps. If customers have any concerns or queries, please contact our Customer Engagement Centre on 0800 066 5000.

What arrangements are in place for passenger assistance on MV Loch Frisa?
On this vessel, boarding will take place via the car deck. A lift is available from the car deck to the passenger areas. We've shared more details on our fleet pages.
If you require assistance boarding, please let us know about your requirements when booking your ticket.
When you arrive at the port, please let our port staff know you require assistance at check-in. This can also be highlighted at the ticket kiosk/office, and if you are travelling by vehicle, please make staff marshalling the car lane aware by switching on your hazard lights when you arrive in the car lane.
