Customer updates - services to and from Mallaig and Mull
Our services are currently being affected by a series of delays to our annual overhaul schedule and its subsequent impact on vessel deployment. As we move through this period, we will continue to share the latest information with our customers and communities on our website and social media channels. Given the nature of our plans, this will often be by on a route-by-route basis.
Services to/from Mull
Oban-Craignure route will continue to operate a single vessel timetable until 25 March. MV Coruisk will be deployed to Oban-Craignure from 26 March and will operate alongside MV Loch Frisa. For the time being, while we continue to review timetables, bookings will be restricted on the Oban-Craignure services from 26 March-2 April.
The current context in terms of vessel deployment is: MV Isle of Mull which normally operates on this route is required for service on Lochboisdale-Oban route until approximately 16 April. MV Loch Frisa is scheduled to leave for overhaul on 16 April until 14 May, and during this period, the service will be covered by MV Coruisk and MV Isle of Mull.
Services to/from Mallaig
A single vessel timetable will operate between Mallaig-Armadale from 31 March until 15 May. The two-vessel timetable is scheduled to be in operation from 16 May when MV Coruisk returns to the route from covering Oban-Craignure services.
We are in the process of contacting any customers with a booking which is affected on these routes, and our team is working closely with communities to ensure they are updated and supported during this period.
We know that with no spare vessels and limited deployment options, this is a challenging period for our customers and the communities we serve. We have said this in the preceding weeks, and the sentiment remains as strong - we are sorry for the effect this is having on you. Our team's focus continues to be on resuming a normal service as quickly as possible. We will continue to share the latest information we have with you.
