Customer Update: Summer Timetable 2023 Publication and Bookings
Summer Timetable 2023 Publication and Bookings
Following confirmation from Transport Scotland that this year's ferry fares will be frozen for six months, we are pleased to confirm that our summer 2023 timetable for the period 31 March - 15 October is now available to view on our website.
Bookings are now open. During periods of high demand a queueing system will be in operation on our website to manage the quality of your experience.
Phase 1 will cover all routes from 31 March to 15 October except for those services to and from Mallaig, which will open by 31 January.
Opening timetables to/from Mallaig by 31 January will allow us the necessary time to confirm tidal amendments in this area. These also need to be managed within the context of operating three services from one berth in Mallaig.
The final week of the summer timetable, 16-22 October inclusive, will be released when the vessel deployment plan for the start of the overhaul period is confirmed. We will keep our customers and communities updated here on our website and via @CalMac_Updates on Twitter.
The fares freeze will apply for the whole of the summer timetable, up to and including Sunday 22 October.
We really appreciate the support and patience shown by customers, the communities we serve, and island businesses especially, while we worked to confirm the summer timetables. We apologise that you have waited longer than usual for this information when our annual community consultations on timetables were delayed while a solution on the closure of Uig harbour was sought, and then while a decision on fares was reached. Our teams have been working to condense this work into as short a window as possible - and we're pleased to be able to release these details this week.
