Sitting between the Outer Hebrides and the Scottish mainland, the Small Isles are made up of Eigg, Rum, Canna and Muck and are accessible by ferry from Mallaig. Eigg has a population of 110 people and has been community owned since 1997. The entire island is powered by a 100% renewable electricity grid.
