How will I know if my request for an advance standby reservation is successful?

We will contact you to let you know it has been successful. This will be up to 12 hours prior to the sailing, and we will contact you by telephone or email.

If you accept the place offered, your booking will be confirmed, and standard cancellation rules will apply. 

Prior to confirmation, an advance standby ticket does not guarantee the sailing and is only confirmed once you have been contacted by Caledonian MacBrayne, and you have accepted the booking.
