Troon - Brodick

Tickets: Book your ticket online, in advance of travel, even if you’re a foot passenger. All vehicles and passengers must have a valid ticket prior to travel.

Check-in: 30 minutes for vehicles and 10 minutes for foot passengers prior to departure. Late check in may result in space being reallocated or vehicles being refused carriage.

Summer timetable 2025: From Summer 2025, a two-vessel service will operate to Arran for 10 months of the year, except during scheduled overhauls where CalMac will temporarily operate a single-vessel service. MV Caledonian Isles will operate to/from Ardrossan and MV Glen Sannox will operate to/from Troon, significantly increasing the capacity to Arran.

Planning ahead:  Book your ticket online in advance of travel - even if you're a foot passenger. eTickets can be scanned from your device.  

Payment Information: we are currently unable to accept cash payments at Troon. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Apple, Google or Samsung Pay.

Alternative route to/from Arran: there is an alternative route to Arran, travelling between Ardrossan - Brodick, or Claonaig/Tarbert to Lochranza.

Concessions: SPT Ferry Card, SPT Companion Ferry Card and Blue badge concessions are available online and can be applied to your ticket. Please carry your concession card with you.

Group passengers: for tickets purchased online for any number of travelling companions the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to all legs of the journey. If you are unsure whether all group members will travel together, please make separate bookings.
