24 January 2025
Due to the impact of Storm Éowyn, and when it is safe to do so, checks will be carried out at our ports and on our vessels to ensure there are no risks to customers, staff and crew before we can resume services.
As a result, sailings will continue to be disrupted across our network and ports on Saturday 25 January. Customers should not travel to ports before checking the service status of their route. Prior to doing so – please check the status of your sailing via the service status page for your route, which will carry the latest information on each route. We’ve shared more advice on staying in touch below.
Whilst the red weather warning expires on the evening of Friday 24 January, amber and/or yellow warnings are forecast to remain in place throughout the weekend, meaning conditions will still be challenging.
When full timetables resume, there may be disruption while we help customers affected by Storm Éowyn to travel. We will also prioritise any lifeline services which need to get to island communities to support storm recovery.
Caledonian MacBrayne’s team is working hard to manage the resumption of services. Our Emergency Response Support Team will remain on standby on Saturday 25 January to support our port staff and vessels across the network.
