National Autistic Society Sensory Bags & Preparing to travel storyboards

CalMac have recently been working with the National Autistic Society (Largs Branch) following recent funds granted to NAS from Transport Scotland as part of the Ferry Accessibility Fund. The aim is to raise awareness of Autism and improve the experiences of families and individuals travelling throughout our network. As part of our project roll out, we have introduced Sensory Bags onboard both our small and major vessels. This will be trialled on the Clyde routes initially and then eventually go out to the wider network. 

Preparing for travel Storyboards

'Preparing for travel' storyboards can be found in each sensory bag onboard the vessel. These can also be located at the relevant ports.
