Valid from 19 October 2020 - 25 April 2021
Following discussion with Transport Scotland, our Winter timetable has been extended to 25 April, with Summer Timetable commencing 26 April 2021. This is in response to the First Minister confirming that Covid-19 restrictions will continue to be in place until at least April.
Please note that from Tuesday 24th November 2020 until Thursday 25th March 2021, the 1340 ex Craignure will depart Craignure at 1425 every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please see timetable below for details.
Friday 5 - Sunday 7 March 2021 - Argyll & Bute Council will be carrying out essential works on the Craignure linkspan from 5 to 7 March 2021. This will prohibit the operation of a vehicle service on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March 2021. View more details and the amended timetable here.
Please remember that physical distancing means that our capacity is less than in 'normal' times - Plan ahead and book your ticket before travel - even if you're a foot passenger.
Check-in is 30 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and 10 minutes for foot passengers - otherwise space will be reallocated. Late check-in may also lead to the vehicle being refused carriage.
Food and Drink - As a result of the latest Scottish Goverment restrictions, to protect the safety of our staff and passengers this route will no longer offer food, drink or retail.
Train Connections - For the most up to date information on train times please visit ScotRail website.
Don't travel on the ferry, and stay at home if you feel unwell or, if anyone in your household is experiencing coronavirus symptoms. If you require to be tested for Covid-19 and live on an island, please request a home testing kit or visit the local island testing facility, if this is available. If you live on the mainland, please arrange to visit a mainland testing centre or request a home testing kit .
Please ensure you take the time to read all our latest travel guidelines and safety information prior to your journey. Customers are reminded to wear a face covering when travelling with us on the ferry, and at our port offices, unless exempt.
ScotRail have provided their next batch of timetables which will operate from 13 December 2020 - 15 May 2021. Due to low crew numbers as a result of Covid-19, ScotRail will be unable to operate a full West Highland Line timetable before May 2021. This has resulted in a few key connections being lost at Oban. These are as follows:
- No 0825 train arrival at Oban will impact the 0930 Oban - Craignure departure on a Monday, 0955 Oban - Craignure departure Tue - Fri & 1030 Oban - Craignure departure on a Saturday
- No 2037 train departure from Oban will impact the 2026 arrival in Oban from Craignure Tuesday & Friday
