Service updates

Mondays - Saturdays up to 30 September

Following a review of crew availability for Gourock-Dunoon services, the following cancellations will remain in place Mondays to Saturdays:

Depart Gourock – 10:05 and 20:10
Depart Dunoon – 10:35 and 20:40

Tuesdays up to 24 September

In addition to the cancellations above, the following sailings have been cancelled due to the combination of overnight berthing and required crew hours of rest:

Depart Gourock – 22:35
Depart Dunoon – 23:05

Disrupting a sailing is a decision we do not take lightly because we know it will inconvenience our customers and the communities we serve. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Supplementary information

Advance single and return ticket purchases for the winter timetable period 21 October 2024 – 27 March 2025 are now open. 10-journey ticket purchases for the winter timetable period will be available from 15 October 2024. Full details on how to purchase in our customer update.

An important reminder on the validity of your Turn Up and Go tickets
Turn Up and Go tickets are valid for the season in which you've purchased them. They cannot be amended and cannot be used outside the timetable period you have bought them in. They are also non-refundable. Please do keep this in mind as we approach the winter timetable period on 21 October 2024. 

Until 29 September

Scotrail will introduce a temporary timetable. This will impact various onward travel connections across the network. For further details please visit www.scotrail.co.uk prior to your journey.

Turn Up and Go and Bookable route online purchases. If you have purchased tickets online as a group or for any number of travel companions, for use on any of our Turn Up and Go or Bookable routes, the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you are unsure if all members of your group are travelling together, please complete separate transactions online.

Connecting Services - For customers using connecting services please note these services do not always guarantee a connection, particularly during times of disruption. We advise that you check both CalMac and connecting service websites prior to travel to ensure you can reach your end destination safely.
