Summer Timetable 26 April – 17 October 2021

We have published a revised timetable for the Oban – Craignure route for the period 26 April – 17 October 2021. All crossings made by the MV Coruisk – indicated by the letter ‘A’ - will take an additional five minutes, and this vessel’s last round trip of the day, departing Craignure at 18.20 (18.10 Wednesday, 18.30 Sunday) and departing Oban at 20.00 (Monday – Saturday) and 19.30 (Sunday) have been withdrawn.

This change is being applied for operational reasons; we need to provide the necessary rest periods for our crew on the MV Coruisk due to the slightly extended passage time. The extended passage time is needed to allow the vessel to switch to a manual control before berthing.

All crossings undertaken by the MV Isle of Mull on this route are unaffected. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and are in the process of contacting customers whose reservations made prior to 12 April are affected.

You can view the updated timetable here.

Travel Information

From 16 April, some Scottish Government restrictions have changed to allow travel across local authority boundary areas to meet small groups socially outdoors, for recreation or exercise.

Before you travel use the Scottish Government postcode checker to check what applies to you.

If you are travelling – in line with restrictions– it is very important that you follow all our safety protocols, including maintaining strict physical distance.

Scotrail Disruptions

Scotrail Conductors will be undertaking industrial action over the next 5 Sundays. This will affect West and North Highland routes. Please see here for details

13 December 2020 - 15 May 2021
Scotrail have provided their next batch of timetables which will operate from 13 December 2020 - 15 May 2021. Due to low crew numbers as a result of Covid-19, ScotRail will be unable to operate a full West Highland Line timetable before May 2021. This has resulted in a few key connections being lost at Oban. These are as follows:
- No 08:25 train arrival at Oban will impact the 09:30 Oban - Craignure departure on a Monday, 09:55 Oban – Craignure departure Tue – Fri & 10:30 Oban – Craignure departure on a Saturday
- No 20:37 train departure from Oban will impact the 20:26 arrival in Oban from Craignure Tuesday & Friday

Payment Information - Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are not accepting cash payment for ticket transactions. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Apple, Google or Samsung Pay. If you need assistance, please speak with a member of staff.

- Please follow updated advice on how to travel safely.

Port Opening Hours – We are operating reduced opening hours at some of our Ports. Check before you travel.

Food and Drink - As a result of the latest Scottish Government restrictions from Friday 8 January 2021, the food, drink and retail offer on board our vessels will change. To protect the safety of our staff and passengers shorter routes will no longer offer food, drink or retail.
