Due to a delay to the schedule, this service will remain cancelled until at least 6 February 2022.
Our annual overhaul programme continues - and due to a delay to the schedule, the Mallaig/Oban to Lochboisdale service will remain cancelled until at least 6 February 2022. This is as a result of an extension to overhaul on MV Caledonian Isles due to emergent steelwork repairs. As a result, we cannot release MV Hebridean Isles to cover the Oban-Lochboisdale sailing.
In addition, MV Isle of Arran is currently berthed in Campbeltown and is not operational due to a lack of crew. Therefore, we are not able to deploy her on Oban-Craignure which would, in turn, release the MV Isle of Mull to operate a service from Lochboisdale. We are continuing to review the crewing situation with MV Isle of Arran and will look to deploy her once the crewing situation improves further. Alternative services are available via Lochmaddy or via the Sound of Barra connection to the MV Isle of Lewis on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. We know this is challenging for our customers and we apologise for the disruption.
