Valid from 05 May - 17 October 2021
Following discussion with Transport Scotland, our Winter timetable has been extended to 25 April, with Summer Timetable commencing 26 April 2021. This is in response to the First Minister confirming that Covid-19 restrictions will continue to be in place until at least April.
Please see winter timetable
Monday 26 April to Tuesday 4 May*
MV Lord of the Isles will operate a combined Lochboisdale and Castlebay service as follows: Barra/South Uist: Oban - Castlebay - Lochboisdale | 26 April - 04 May 2021
The change to this service is in response to a major failure of the port engine with MV Loch Seaforth operating the Ullapool - Stornoway route. It is expected that the vessel will be out of service until at least 4 May to allow the issue to be thoroughly investigated and allow specialist engineers to work on her engines. (*This date is subject to change and we will continue to keep our customers updated throughout.)
Check-in is 45 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and 30 minutes for foot passengers - otherwise space will be reallocated. Late check-in may also lead to the vehicle being refused carriage.
Campervans/Motorhomes/Caravans - Please confirm you have agreed overnight provision prior to travel to the islands.
Food and Drink - A phased reopening of our food and drink offering is now available on some of our routes and options will vary depending on the vessel.
Please ensure you take the time to read all our latest travel guidelines and safety information prior to your journey. Customers are reminded to wear a face covering when travelling with us on the ferry, and at our port offices, unless exempt.
An accessible version of this timetable will be available shortly.
