Fares and retrospective refunds
A refund process is in place for the duration of the Uig harbour closure for customers who:
would normally travel Tarbert/Lochmaddy-Uig, but who instead travelled Stornoway-Ullapool, or Lochboisdale-Oban/Mallaig,
would normally travel Lochmaddy-Uig, but were subsequently diverted from Lochmaddy-Ullapool to Lochboisdale-Mallaig/Oban,
have travelled on the alternative route between 30 October and 11 December 2023 when Uig harbour was closed,
be able to provide evidence of your booking or ticket purchase,
have completed their journey.
If you are a customer who is in any of those categories, please complete our short, dedicated refund form to apply for the difference in ticket price.
Any customers travelling Lochmaddy-Ullapool instead of Lochmaddy-Uig will be paying the same fare as their normal route so are not required to complete this form.
