All the benefits of e-bikes transferred perfectly into touring, but there is one in particular that stands proud: If you drive less, you'll see more. We are very fortunate in Port Ellen to be at the beginning of the three distillery path (soon to be four) also on the same path at approx (7 miles) from Port Ellen is Kildalton High Cross and Old Parish Church.

Operating range depends on many factors such as the assistance level, gear changing behaviour, route profile, headwind, and temperature, but in general, the average range of our battery packs is up to around 30-50 miles.
If you don't already own an e-bike, touring may also serve as an ideal introduction to the world of the electric bike. What better way to try out an electric bike than to enjoy some of Islay's best scenery at the same time? Whether you want to be able to travel further to see more, or just experience the exhilaration a hill-top view offers but without needing to sit down first, then an e-bike offers a completely different experience to the car.
