Our passionate and dedicated team of marine biologists are here to show you the wonders of Scotland’s wildlife. As well as our dedicated basking shark tours we run a variety of wildlife, swim, paddle, snorkel & dive adventures. Barra


Barra, St Kilda & Outer Hebrides. Snorkel, swim, wildlife & island exploring 


See the best of the islands on the edge of the Atlantic, the remote and wild Outer Hebrides. Explore from our comfortable & fast boat, designed for an epic adventure in the Atlantic. We will spend the trip based from the Isle of Barra. Whether you would like to stay dry, snorkel or wild swim we know you will love this trip -it’s the firm favourite of our staff and previous passengers! All tours are different as we navigate the sea conditions, but this is what we hope you will experience:

  • 6 activity days – 5 days on the boat & 1 land based day (7 nights)
  • Land on uninhabited islands to explore incredible views, historic sites and spectacular beaches.
  • Chance to visit the UK’s only Dual UNESCO World Heritage Site – St Kilda
  • Meet charismatic puffins, seabirds and eagles on the cliffs of Mingulay
  • Snorkel in temperate kelp forests, reefs and historic shipwrecks*
  • Daily wild swimming opportunity
  • Swim the 5 Isles challenge (most was 8 isles!)
  • Visit the resident seal colonies and snorkel with the seals
  • 5 days looking for basking sharks, whale and dolphin watching
  • Group Self Catering Accommodation Available on per room basis (or whole house for groups)

Puffin & Wildlife Tour 


Visit the spectacular cliffs of the Treshnish Isles, a Special Area of Conservation. Lunga becomes the summer home to thousands of seabirds. With the charismatic puffin taking up residence across the length of the island, you will undoubtedly enjoy seeing these birds go about their daily lives just metres away from you! Along with the puffins, there are also nesting guillemots, razorbills, fulmars, kittiwakes and shags. This island is a dream for any wildlife photographer, naturalist, or those who want to spend their afternoon being charmed by the island residents.

  • 1 day boat tour travelling through the stunning scenery of the Sound of Mull.
  • Visit the Isle of Lunga, the largest seabird colony in the Treshnish Isles.
  • Meet the charismatic puffins and their relatives.
  • Ample time to photograph and explore the island.
  • Opportunity to see whales, dolphins, and seals along the way.
  • Visit responsibly guided by a marine biologist.


Seal & Lagoon 


Visit a very special lagoon, well protected from the wind and one of the sunniest places in the UK. The water here is the crystal clear, unpolluted Atlantic Ocean with a white shell sand beach, surrounded by fringing kelp forest reefs. This marine paradise holds a large resident seal colony of both common and grey seals. Swim, snorkel, kayak, SUP or just relax and soak up the beautiful environment from the comfort of the boat, the choice is yours

  • Visit the lagoon, a Hebridean marine paradise
  • Look for both grey and common seals
  • Ample time to swim, snorkel or soak in the view *
