Isle of Harris Brewery

Hebridean Food, Drink & Hospitality

The Isle of Harris Brewery are Nick, Anna and Spud the Brewery Dog. In July 2020 they opened the Isle of Harris Brewery from a tiny tin Brewshed on their croft in Borrisdale, South Harris. Four years later they moved two miles along the shore to the Pier in Leverburgh and opened The Isle of Harris Brewery, taproom, restaurant and deli.

Brewery

They brew a core range of ten beers, LIMITED EDITION seasonal specials and bespoke label beers from their small batch Brewery at Leverburgh Pier. They have a hand in every part of the process from grain to glass. Their beers are made using quality Scottish grain and all natural ingredients. Available on tap fresh from the Brewshed and bottled conditioned to enjoy at home.

Taproom, restaurant

In their taproom they offer a casual lunch and dinner menu featuring the very best local produce and Scottish pub classics. They can seat up to fifty in our taproom and when the Hebridean weather allows there are extra tables on our shorefront deck. They also offer hot and cold food and drinks to grab-and-go from the deli.

Deli

The Hebridean islands are famous for their unspoilt beauty; with crystal clear lochs, rugged hills and wildflower crofts fringing turquoise seas. This natural environment means island crofters, fishermen, butchers and bakers produce food and drink recognised around the world.

Within a few miles of the Brewery we can source lobster, langoustine, crab and hand dived scallops, freshly roasted coffee, tablet & home baked cakes. Leverburgh even has a resident mustard maker!

They serve our own coffee blend "The Taproom Roast" made by Skydancer in South Uist and Hebridean Tea blends from Tiree. Their bakery counter is restocked everyday with bakes from the kitchens of Croft 36 in Northton and Lucy in Leverburgh.
