Do I need to pay for my bicycle/equipment?

No, bikes and equipment are carried free of charge on all our ferries.  

We will do everything we can to accommodate all cyclists and bicycles, or those travelling on foot while carrying equipment - however, we cannot guarantee shipment on busy sailings. If you do not get a particular sailing, we will do everything we can to get you the next available sailing.  

If you're a foot passenger travelling with a bike, or if you're a vehicle passenger with a bike or roof rack you need to let us know you're bringing one with you when you make your booking. When you book online, you'll be prompted to provide this information. So:  

• If you're a foot passenger travelling with a bike, add a bicycle to your booking. Your reservation will be for a passenger(s) and bicycle(s).  

• If you're travelling in a vehicle with a bike rack, add a bike rack to your booking. Your reservation will be for passenger(s), vehicle(s) and bike racks - but you don't need to add the number of bikes separately. 

This information helps us manage capacity, and lets you know if we have space on that sailing.
