Launched in darkness on 17 December 1987, the MV Loch Ranza, Loch Raonasa in Gaelic, sails from Tayinloan to Gigha. She was the last of the quartet of drive-through 'loch class' ferries, and served five years on the route between Lochranza and Claonaig before moving to her current position.
