Troon - Brodick

Tickets Book your ticket online, in advance of travel, even if you’re a foot passenger. All vehicles and passengers must have a valid ticket prior to travel.

Up to 31 May 2025: Due to delays to annual overhaul and vessel availability we have had to make several deployment changes across our network, including changes to vessels and services on this route. Arran services to Brodick will operate to/from Troon only up to 31 May 2025 - with MV Glen Sannox and MV Alfred. From 1 June customers can travel to Brodick from Troon or Ardrossan. The service between Ardrossan-Brodick is expected to resume by 1 June. Please read our customer update to find out more.

Please note: MV Caledonian Isles will operate to/from Ardrossan upon her return and MV Glen Sannox will operate to/from Troon, significantly increasing the capacity to Arran.

1 June - 19 October: To address traffic management concerns during peak periods around the Brodick port area, an adjustment has been made to the Troon-Brodick timetable. Please find the updated timetable below, which will be in effect from 1 June to 19 October. During this period, services are planned to operate from both Troon and Ardrossan ports.

Check-in 30 minutes for vehicles and 10 minutes for foot passengers prior to departure. Late check in may result in space being reallocated or vehicles being refused carriage.

Shuttle bus service A shuttle bus will operate between Ardrossan port and Troon port for foot passengers travelling on MV Glen Sannox sailings. A separate bus will continue to operate between Troon train station and Troon port. Shuttle Bus information can be found here.
