Recycling at CalMac

At CalMac we strive to reduce the impact of our operations on the environment. One way we do this is by providing recycling facilities at all our locations for our customers to use. This allows our customers to recycle on the go.

We have contracts in place with licensed companies and local authorities who collect our recycling for further segregation and processing before being recycled into new products.

Please help us to recycle as much waste as possible by placing your waste items in the correct bins.

We have tried to make it as simple as possible for our customers to recycle and that is why we have recycling stations where you can fully segregate your waste at each location.

You may see slightly different bins at our more remote ports and the vessels servicing them to meet the requirements of the local authority that collects our waste.

We kindly ask that you refer to the icons on the bins.
