CalMac award of LNG supply tender
Molgas Energy UK Ltd have been awarded the contract to supply and deliver Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) for the two new dual-fuel vessels, MV Glen Sannox and Hull 802 currently under construction at Fergusons Yard.
Pauline Blackshaw, Director of Strategy and Change for CalMac, said: "We are pleased to be awarding the LNG supply contract to Molgas Energy UK, an energy sector market leader with considerable expertise in the use of LNG in maritime applications.
"This marks an important milestone in the use of LNG fuel in Scotland and we look forward to the delivery of the dual-fuel vessels on the Clyde and Hebrides ferry network."
