Long service award for CalMac's carpenter Tommy

Congratulations to Thomas MacDonald, Carpenter (CPO) on MV Isle of Lewis, for being presented with his long service award for 25 years at CalMac.

Tommy joined the company in September 1998 and has served aboard MV's Clansman, Lord of the Isles, Isle of Arran, and Isle of Lewis. From Inverness, he has been a permanent crew member of MV Isle of Lewis since January 2002, with most of that time served as Carpenter.

Captain Lewis MacKenzie said: "Aboard here we very much value Tommy's experience, hard earned knowledge of the vessel and his can-do spirit. It's always a pleasure to sail with Tommy and we are delighted to see him reach this milestone. Here's to many more years of service!"
