Planning your travel to unstaffed ports and slipways

Ahead of your journey, please check to see if your travel will include a visit to an unstaffed port or slipway. If this is the case or you're not sure, please let us know about your requirements for assistance 48 hours before your journey begins, by calling our Customer Services team. Our team will discuss your options with you to best meet your assistance needs. If you give us enough notice, we'll be able to let the vessel staff know of your needs, and someone will be made available to give you the assistance you require. If you have not made us aware of your requirements we will of course do all we can to meet your needs but someone might not be available immediately to give you the assistance you require. If you are unsure please contact our Customer Services team for help.

To help you plan ahead as far as possible, we have collated a set of Access Statements for all of our ports and vessels. These provide information on accessibility information across the entire CalMac network.
