Customer Update - Brodick Highland Games, Saturday 5 August 2023 

If you are attending Brodick Highland Games on Saturday 5 August, read the following important information related to travelling with us for the event. 

Travel on the sailing you have booked 

Due to increased passenger numbers travelling to the Brodick Highland Games, all foot passengers must travel on the sailings you have purchased tickets for. If there is capacity, you might be able to travel on an earlier sailing, but if you miss your sailing then you will need to purchase another ticket for a later sailing. If you fail to travel on your booked sailing, it could result in you being unable to travel.  

Group bookings 

Customers who have booked tickets together as one booking must travel together. If you have purchased tickets online as a group, your full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey.  

If you are unsure if all members of your group will be travelling together, then you should complete separate transactions when booking. Once any QR code which is associated with a booking is scanned, this will check in everyone in your group and cannot be scanned again.    

Advance bookings 

Due to sailings being busier than normal, please book your tickets in advance where possible to guarantee travel, and make sure you arrive in plenty of time as wait times may be extended.  

Onboard facilities

MV Alfred: If you are travelling on MV Alfred, please be advised that all passengers will require to access the vessel via a ramp and no retail offering will be available onboard. Please plan ahead if you require any food or drink during the crossing.
