Storm Ashley - Advice and information for our customers
Updated: 18 October 2024, 16:00
With the arrival of Storm Ashley expected on Sunday 20 October, adverse weather conditions are predicted to affect parts of northwest Scotland. At the time of writing, this deep area of low pressure is predicted to bring a spell of strong and disruptive winds throughout Sunday 20 October and into Monday 21 October.
The Met Office has advised that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage. Also expect longer journey times, and some roads and bridges could close.
