Storm Bert - Advice and information for our customers

With the arrival of Storm Bert expected on Saturday 23 November, adverse weather conditions are predicted to affect parts of Scotland.

The Met Office has issued weather warnings and at the point of publication of this customer update this deep area of low pressure is predicted to bring a spell of heavy rain, snow and strong winds to much of the country over Saturday 23 November and Sunday 24 November. The weather warning advises that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage, public transport and roads.

With the arrival of such conditions, it may be that some of our services may be delayed or cancelled across the network to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues, which is our priority. We will keep customers updated with the latest information via the service status and information pages, our app and our X (formerly Twitter) page @CalMac_Updates.

With road conditions and bus, train services expected to be affected, please consider building in extra time for your journey to ports and ferry terminals.
