Passenger information

Works that are scheduled to be carried out during MV Caledonian Isles annual overhaul in early 2025 have been brought forward and the vessel will now enter dry dock on Wednesday 23 October. This includes overhaul of the port gearbox. Following the completion of these works, there will be a requirement for the gearboxes and engines to be realigned once the vessel is afloat. Following successful realignment, sea trials will then take place. The vessel is planned to be back in service by Wednesday 20 November.

Please see customer update here for more details.

MV Alfred will continue to operate the Troon-Brodick service up to and including 20 November. Please see timetable here. We expect this service to be very busy. Customers without a confirmed booking are not guaranteed travel.

Customers are also reminded that the Turn Up and Go Claonaig – Lochranza service remains available. However, due to the volume of displaced traffic from the Ardrossan – Brodick service, the Claonaig – Lochranza service will be very busy, and extended wait times may be expected. View Claonaig – Lochranza timetable here.

If you are new to the Claonaig – Lochranza route, we’ve provided useful information here.

Impacted bookings – All impacted bookings up to and including 15 November have been moved and contacted. New bookings and amendments between Saturday 16 November - Wednesday 20 November are currently closed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
